Chorley Local Strategic Partnership
A Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) is an overarching body, made up of representatives from the public sector, private sector and community, voluntary and faith sectors. The aim of LSP's is to create a Community Strategy, and ensure its delivery.


Lancashire County Council
The County Council currently has responsibility for a range of planning related matters at a county-wide level including the Joint Lancashire Structure Plan, the provision of transport services and minerals and waste planning.

North West Regional Assembly
Information on regional planning, transport and sustainability matters including the latest news on the review of the Regional Spatial Strategy.


North West Regional Development Agency
The NWDA leads the economic development and regeneration of England's Northwest, including the development of the Regional Economic Strategy.


The Northern Way
The Northern Way is a collaboration between the three Northern Regional Development Agencies (Yorkshire Forward, Northwest Development Agency and One NorthEast) to develop a 20 year strategy to transform the economy of the North of England.
